HOUSE REFURBISHMENT Suffolk Coast

We were asked by the architect to light a house undergoing considerable change and refurbishment.

The lighting design process of the interior and exterior involved altering the initial scheme to fit budget and client’s preference.

The imposing family house on a small but beautiful site needed lighting for domestic application as well as the owners’ offices.

The lights used were from many suppliers; mostly ‘modern’, using 240 volt tungsten and tungsten halogen, 12 volt tungsten halogen with ceramic metal halide, linear and compact fluorescent; more than meeting Part ‘L’ of the current building regulations.

Most lights were dimmed.
